The Belvedere Country Inn, circa 1850, has been owned by the Gibbons family since 1967.  Four generations have put their haert and soul in restoring and updating the inn while maintaining it's historical ambiance. The Belvedere is the only operating hotel left from the hotel era of the early 1900's when Stamford was known as the "Queen of the Catskills".
Today, the inn has all rooms with modern bath facilities and they have been brought back to its original country elegance inclusive of comforters on all the beds, antiques, memorabilia and country charm.

Farm Store open Friday's Saturday's and Sunday's from 11am - 5pm from Mother's Day weekend through Christmas.
La Basse Cour is a family farm that has been operating continuously since it was established in the mid-1800's. Our beautiful Greek-Revival farmhouse is available for bed and breakfast guests year round. Our farm store features our naturally raised vegetables and eggs, locally produced jams, baked goods and maple syrup, and beautiful artisan crafts. And we can be found at the Headwaters Farmers' Market in Stamford.
